On Air Talent
Walt “The Rev” Fletcher has been with the show since its inception November 2007. As a daily motorcycle commuter Walt not only talks the talk but rides his ride. When Walt isn’t sitting behind the microphone he is working in the technology world as a contractor at a little software company in the Redmond, WA area. Walt also enjoys life with the love of his life Pat his wife who occasionally enjoys short rides on the back of Walt’s Heritage Softail.
Steve “The Producer” Johann has been producing and co-hosting the show since its inception. Steve is a long time talk show junkie and entrepreneur. Steve began riding in 1980 and rode for over a decade before he hung it up to start a family and do the things you do when your priorities shift. It was this connection to his past and his love for talk radio and interviewing cool people that caused him to start the Hog Radio Show. When not running the show he spends time with the love of his life Mary wife and mother of their three boys. Oh, and don’t worry, Steve is now fully endorsed and will soon be the proud owner of a used motorcycle.
The idea for The Hog Radio Show began in the summer of 2006 when Steve Johann the Producer of The Hog Radio Show spent time at Yellowstone, the Black Hills and eventually drove through Sturgis, South Dakota, while on a family road trip. “I had just wrapped up a radio show prior to leaving, so programming was still fresh in my mind.
As we encountered thousands of bikers on our trip I was struck with the idea, I want to reach this people group.” What began as an idea became a reality with the first airing of The Hog Radio Show on November 18th 2007.
